This article is very short
I just set about indexing and recording the speeds and specifications of all apple processors used, I then set about covering all PC CPUs since the advent of the Personal Computer, THEN, I put them all into a scatter graph so you can see the results. It has long been my opinion that if the tables were turned and apple had the advantage that our computers wouldn't be anywhere near as advanced due to the fact that apple don't push the technology forward due to their closed development of Hardware. here are the results, take from them what you like:
as you can see, until recently, apple have been leagues behind with processor speed, I understand that speed isn't everything. However, I'm talking about technological progression here, and not which system is better. I just want to add though that when apple were using PPC they went on about how it was archetecturally better, if that is the case then why are they now using intel? you owe PC users much more than you think mr mac user...
